Out of Milk - Shopping List App Reviews

I was excited to be able to use this and share between Apple and Google platforms, it seems really useful. However, if I try to add something to my shopping list, it doesnot let me know if that item is already on the list and so adds it again which is not useful if more than one person is using the app - things get repeated and time is wasted. Also, it is difficult to scroll through everything, it needs a search option.

I liked using it all the time, helps when we go shopping.. Just think could use little fixer upper on the units and all.. Like i click on how much quantities and all but when i click the price it goes bonkers and goes like 100s and all i want to do is just the price i want

I dont like the new version because the check marks take up too much of the already narrow slot for labelling/naming grocery items. The previous version didnt have this and was much easier tic work with overall.. So if the developer feels compelled to add new features, why not simply make them selectable instead of FORCING us to use them?! The previous version was MUCH better - for usability, display AND common sense layout.

Offline lists are great so data isnt required. Would love ipad version where can actually see more than 6 items at a time.

Love this app. It does have some features missing like quantities, but thats a minor flaw. Love the fact that the list can be SMSed or emailed .. Helps a huge lot when family members are outside shopping but not connected to the internet.

Weve been using this app for a couple of trips and have found it really helpful. It can be really slow when syncing. Sometimes we go to two or three stores on grocery day. It would be nice if we could have a "Store" tag so we know where the item is on sale.

Two significant problems: 1. No search feature makes this almost useless- the whole point is that that I want to be able to see if I already have an item when Im looking at a recipe or in the grocery store, having to scroll through everything is ridiculous. 2. When you scan something in rather than increasing the existing quantity it adds it as an additional item. Again, not useful if you have to do everything manually.

Tried to craft an account via Google but there was an error. Deleted app immediately.

I have more than a couple of paid apps and guess what, I am just using this coz its way better. The devices sync and I am one happy camper or in this case, shopper! Thank you! I love the scan feature but I wonder why some products cannot be accessed. Can you optimize it for iPad as well? Duplicate check when items are entered twice. So far so good, awesome job!

Without syncing its pretty useless to me.

Hoping for an update for ios9. The only way to minimize the keyboard after adding an item appears to be fully closing the program. Not fun.

Since the latest 3.5.3 update, I am no longer able to check items off on any lists (shared or owned).

Used to be awesome. Now I cant cancel things off my list. Come on!!

This was my favourite app but not now, its no longer working. I cant delete items or add items. Can you please fix so I can use it again?

This is used to be a great app, but list sharing no longer works, you cant check off or delete items, things dont show up after adding them... In short, it is no longer usable. Ive deleted and switched to another app.

Every time I try to open the shopping list the app force stops

App crash when attempting to access shopping lists whether Im signed in or not.

I like a lot of the features such as different categories and ability to move items to another list. However, Im having issues with info disappearing from the notes section when I edit it. It would also be nice to have a section that would calculate the price per unit because the price history doesnt help if I have the same product in a different size.

Every time I open the grocery list it forces close

Loved this app when my husband and I first got it but it slowly stopped working correctly. I found it deleted lists and deleted items. Not sure why. It also un-shared lists we had already shared. I noticed that it also worked differently on different platforms and made keeping the list organized in categories difficult. It became more work than help. Deleted app and got a different list app.
