Out of Milk - Shopping List App Reviews

I wish I could add items from my pantry list to the shopping list. OR Access the pantry from my shopping list. Otherwise, whats the point of having both lists if you cant use them together? "Hey we need milk, lets add that to the list" cant we have to go to the list and add it ourselves! When you add an item to the shopping list and mark it as bought, it should go on your pantry list. Instead of you having to add it manually. So frustrating. I hopefully these things get fixed or Ill have no choice but to find a better app.

Really functional, unobtrusive, very easy to use. Highly recommend!

Look at all the people who love(d) it!! It was our favorite but went down hill to the point of unusable. Please dont let us down!! We loved it for the simplicity that it was and that it worked x-platform. Its now over engineered and useless. I wanna come back, but I cant until its fixed.

This app was good before the update. Now it is worthless. I am really annoyed with developers who issue an update for new iOS with no back-version compatibility. Not happy that I put effort inputting all the inventory in my pantry - which is now a waste. Even if they fix it, I am not coming back. You trashed a good app guys.

This app no longer works. It constantly crashes. Looking for a new app to replace this.

This was my most used app and I loved it. Unfortunately, the recent update has created a major bug. So, the app is no longer working properly. Please, please fix it soon.

Definitely needed that bug fix but overall so easy to use, organize shopping and share

I was really upset after the last update but you guys were on it and corrected the issues and now I can say again that this is the BEST shopping list app! Great job!!

Thank you for your diligent work with the releasing of this latest update(3.5.4). You have regain my confidence in this app and with a excellent rating. This Out of Milk app has been many users favorite apps for shopping. Along with organizing our pantry and categories when you go shopping . I have been using this app for many years. I will continue using it for many more years. Out of Milk has been very helpful and pleasant to go shopping with. Has been a great assistance, thumbs up thumbs up!

I just switched to IPhone and I have to say, the interface on droid is much better. Please make progress on the IPhone app. This does make sharing lists with my wife very easy but I dislike the iPhone interface so maybe Ill go browse options.

PLEASE update the look of this app.. It has a useful function but I cringe using it.. Incredibly tacky icons and a look modeled after iOS 6 and earlier. I was happy to see it finally had an update today and thought maybe it would finally have a modern look. Nope.. Same ugly, dated Mario clouds and notepad look. Might be time to find a replacement.

Love this app. I have personalized the categorie which makes shopping easy; groups produce together, meat, dairy, etc.

My husband and I tried this app for about a month and a half, sharing it between our phones. The app never would update when one of us would add an item, even after we refreshed the app on the other phone. It constantly marked items as checked off while I was scrolling up and down the list, regardless of how mindful I was of it. It wouldnt alert me when it did this and would continue scrolling like normal so I wouldnt notice until I re-evaluated the list and realized all the items I need were checked off. Not at all user friendly in general. I tried this same app years ago and hated it. I dont know why I wasted my time again.

Love, Love this app! Simple, very easy to keep track of running shopping / errand lists. I use categories as zones in my favorite grocery store. So efficient to use while in store, so I can get in and out and be productive in getting what I need. No need for bells and whistles or a prettier interface. Its a productivity app, and works!

The new iPhone interface looks nice, but its less straightforward than it used to be. Is it really on me to categorize carrots, potatoes, and onions as Produce? Thats annoying. To Clear Done, I now have to go out to the Menu. Thats not so bad, but although the Notepad-looking interface was bland, it was a little easier and more intuitive. Its a fine line between appearance and function. Just a little more tweaking, and itll be there. Still a great, useful app.

Its so much easier for me to use my iPad Mini to shop, but since iOS doesnt have the update that my Galaxy has, I can no longer sync my lists and the app has become all but useless to me. Please update the app in the near future! No one should have to write lists anymore. #firstworldproblems

Since the last iPhone update when I go into the store the app opens but it acts like its trying to download something but just keep cranking. Now everything that was stored is gone and the app is cranking. Nothing else happens. Ive booted my iPhone and just now thought Id just reload it but since Ive loaded it, it just gives me the option to open

This was a great Website/App combo. The app is good, just do not EVER EXPECT the website to work anymore. They broke it severely last spring and STILL HAVE NOT managed to get it fixed right. You want it just for the app, yah it is all right, but what I wanted it for and wanted both features, well without the other there are other App only options in the Store.
